The movie, which features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, is slated to be released on Diwali 2025, while Part 2 will arrive on Diwali 2027.

According to reports, T-Series acquired music rights for both parts of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana for Rs 75 crore, which makes it one of the largest music deals till now. To mention, reports have also claimed that there was a high-stakes competition among the labels; however, T-Series has secured the deal for crores, which has been structured as a refundable advance, making it slightly different from regular music rights. According to Filmy Forum, Ramayana has a target for domestic net collection to reach around Rs. 1000 to 1,500 crore and worldwide gross surpassing Rs. 2,000 to 2,500 crore.
