A candid picture of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas and Mahesh Babu has taken social media by storm. Fans were quick to wonder where the trio had met, and it has now emerged that the photo was clicked at a popular multiplex in Hyderabad, reportedly co-owned by the Telugu superstar.
The three had reportedly come together for a private movie screening. Following the show, they posed for a photograph that was later shared by the theatre, delighting fans online. Priyanka and Nick are currently in Hyderabad along with their daughter, Malti Marie, while Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Ghattamaneni was also reportedly present during the outing.
Varanasi among the biggest releases of 2027
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Mahesh Babu will be seen sharing screen space in SS Rajamouli’s ambitious action-adventure Varanasi. The globe-trotting epic reportedly follows Rudhra as a mysterious asteroid threatens the ancient city, unfolding across multiple timelines. Priyanka as Mandakini, is described as a fierce, globetrotting figure who is both strong and vulnerable, helping the lead hero navigate across continents and timelines.
At the film’s title launch in November 2025 at Ramoji Film City, Priyanka won over the audience by greeting fans in Telugu and praising Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and composer MM Keeravaani. Mahesh has also spoken fondly about working with Priyanka, recalling their extensive shooting schedule amid wildlife in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Prakash Raj, Varanasi is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
Priyanka’s Hollywood slate grows
Beyond Varanasi, Priyanka has another major international project lined up. She will next star opposite Orlando Bloomin the survival thriller Reset, directed by Matt Smukler. The film follows a woman who wakes up in the wilderness with no memory and must decide whether the mysterious stranger helping her can actually be trusted. Production on Reset is expected to begin in August.
