Jason reveals his equation with his father, Vijay
In an interview with Suma for her YouTube channel, Jason spoke about his love for cinema and revealed that it was his father’s work that helped him understand cinema from a very young age. Jason always wished to study filmmaking, and his dad, Vijay, supported him since the beginning. Speaking about Vijay’s reaction when Jason told him about his wish to pursue filmmaking, the soon-to-be director said:
“When I told him I wanted to go overseas, be independent and pursue filmmaking as a course, he didn’t hesitate. He was the first one to give me a green signal because he has been in the industry for so long. More than my mother and my sister, he actually understood the importance of it.”
