According to reports, a man got into the area where Cardi B was shooting a video in New York City on August 11, 2026. The man in question was later identified as a 70-year-old photographer named Steven Sands. After getting in, he disrupted Cardi’s shoot in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Although the shoot was taking place on the streets, the rapper already had a permit to film there.
Sources with knowledge of the incident told TMZ that Steven not only ignored orders from Cardi’s staff but also proceeded to bypass police barriers. He also refused to comply with police orders when he was told to stop acting up. Ultimately, Steven ended up with a criminal court summons for disorderly conduct.
