Shelley Fabares died at the age of 82 on August 22, 2026, in Los Angeles. Her family confirmed she passed away surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness. Fabares began as a child actress and rose to fame as ‘Mary Stone’ on The Donna Reed Show from 1958 to 1963. She later earned two Emmy nominations for her role as ‘Christine Armstrong’ on Coach.
