Recently, there have been some reports re-sharing Charu’s old interview, wherein she talked about her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. However, Charu slammed the media and reporters for trying to dig up her old statements for their views and engagement. She asked them to stop circulating her quotes from her old interviews and presenting it as if she talked about it recently. She wrote:
“I want to make it absolutely clear to all reporters and media portals that my personal life should not be used for gaining views or engagement. Quoting from my old interviews and presenting it as if it’s relevant to my life today is completely unacceptable. I’ve
consciously chosen not to speak about my private life anymore, especially now that my daughter is growing up, and protecting her privacy and peace is my responsibility.”
