A$AP Rocky has been declared not guilty in a felony assault case, which involves his former friend, A$AP Relli. The two were in a crew and called themselves the A$AP Mob since high school. However, the case began when they met up in Hollywood on November 6, 2021. After an argument, it was speculated that Rocky pulled the gun and fired twice at Relli. The latter said one of the shots grazed his knuckle but he wasn’t seriously hurt.
Upon being pronounced as not guilty, Rocky hugged his team of lawyers while making his way to Rihanna. The two emotionally embraced each other and sobbed. Rihanna also took to social media to share her gratitude. In an Instagram story, she wrote, “The glory belongs to god and god alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy.”
Rocky has also thanked his team of lawyers for supporting him. “Thank y’all for saving my life,” he told the jurors. Many well-wishers on social media have expressed support for the rapper following the trial.
