Erika Kirk reflects on her grief at losing her husband, Charlie Kirk
Recently, a heartfelt essay by Erika Kirk was published in The New York Times, where she opened up about her grief through her writing. As a grieving wife, she recalled her life after Charlie’s fatal shooting on September 10, 2025 at the Utah University campus. It not only ended the life of a young political activist but also left a grieving family. In her words:
“I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely.”
