One of Silicon Valley’s most infamous figures, Elizabeth Holmes, has been grabbing attention with the documentary You Can See Everything, which is gearing up for release in October 2026. Holmes was hailed as a visionary entrepreneur when she claimed that her company, Theranos, would bring a revolution to the healthcare industry with a device that could run hundreds of tests using only a few drops of blood.
However, the rise collapsed when her company failed to deliver on its promises. Following this, Elizabeth Holmes was sent to federal prison for defrauding investors of millions of dollars. In 2022, following a trial, a federal jury found her guilty of one count of conspiracy and three counts of wire fraud for deceiving investors. She was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in prison, and after several delays, in May 2023, she turned herself in and began serving her sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan.
