Ganguly was headed to Burdwan for a university programme when his car reportedly crashed into a high-speeding lorry. The former Indian cricketer was left unhurt and had a narrow death escape. ‘Dada’ was lucky to have escaped the mishap.
How did Sourav Ganguly’s car collide with the lorry?
According to an India Today report, the alleged incident occurred at Datanpur. A lorry overtook Ganguly’s car, making ‘Dada’s’ driver apply the brakes immediately. Due to this prompt reaction, a chain of events occurred, where the cars behind Ganguly’s convoy collided with one another, and his vehicle was also hit. By the grace of God, no one suffered injuries in the accident. However, two cars in Ganguly’s convoy received little damage. Ganguly had to wait on the road for 10 minutes before he began proceeding towards Burdwan University, where he attended a scheduled function.
