This decision didn’t sit well with the NFL executive, who went on to slam him. The executive shared that Mike’s counseling could have waited for 24 hours. According to a report by Pro Football Network, the NFL executive said:
“More than half the draft happens on the last day, so that’s not the day to miss.”
