On the occasion of Baisakhi, Akshay Kumar shared a warm and heartfelt message, reflecting on gratitude, fresh beginnings and the joy that comes with the festive season. Extending his wishes to people across the country, he spoke about how the festival beautifully brings together different cultures, traditions, and celebrations, all rooted in a shared sense of unity and happiness.

Talking about what Baisakhi means to him, Akshay said, “On this beautiful occasion of Baisakhi, we celebrate not just a harvest, but a spirit of togetherness. Across our country, so many festivals and new year traditions fall around the same time, and that unity is truly special. For me, it’s always a reminder to be grateful and to embrace new beginnings. This year feels even more meaningful.”
He also expressed his happiness over the response to his television debut, sharing how deeply it has connected with audiences. “The love and warmth people have shown for my new show on Sony Entertainment Television has been overwhelming. It’s always special when something new resonates with viewers in such a genuine way, and that kind of response means everything to me. I wish everyone growth, positivity, and a year full of new opportunities,” he added.

Apart from his television stint, Akshay is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, which marks his reunion with filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film, also starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and the late Asrani, is set to hit theatres on April 17, with paid previews beginning a day earlier.
