The relationship between actors, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, lovingly called ‘Branjelina’, has fallen apart in ways fans could never have imagined. Hollywood’s former ‘IT couple’ are currently embroiled in an asset-related suit. The actors are fighting over Château Miraval, a French winery they jointly purchased in 2008. Recently, the controversy intensified after their eldest son, Maddox Chivan Jolie, legally appealed to drop “Pitt” from his surname. Brad and Angelina’s youngest, a set of twins, Knox and Vivienne are set to become adults in 2026, after which their mom will reportedly step into a new phase of life.
Moving abroad to having a new partner, here’s what’s next for Angelina Jolie before the residual custody dissolves
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s 10-year-long custody row is officially coming to an end. It will take place after their twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt turn 18 on June 12, 2026. While the former couple finalised their legal divorce settlement in December 2024 after an eight-year battle, the ruling on their children was the last string of connection between them. Angelina was granted primary custody of the kids while the F1 actor had visitation rights regarding his minor children. However, as they turn legal adults this June, the residual custody arrangement will become void. After that, Angelina is set to focus on a new chapter of life.
