It’s the season of new on-screen couples, and the exclusive story machinery at Filmfare has unearthed a new scoop. The latest in the young brigade of jodis to come together on-screen are Abhay Verma and Shanaya Kapoor. Our source has revealed exclusive deets about their new project.
Abhay, who is fresh off the success of Munjya is going to feature in this film with Shanaya, who is waiting for her big Malayalam debut Vrushabha to release this year. Our source revealed, “Abhay and Shanaya are in talks to sign on for a film that is going to be directed by Shujaat Saudagar. They haven’t signed on the dotted line yet. But we believe its just a formality. You could hear of an official confirmation soon.”
Shujaat Saudagar has directed Rock On 2 and Bambai Meri Jaan in the recent past. We’ll be hoping that these exciting new talents can finalise this project and give us a fresh new story with fresh new faces to look forward to this year. We’ve got our fingers crossed. Watch this space for more.
