Arijit Singh has been making headlines ever since he announced his decision to step away from playback singing on January 27. Even as fans come to terms with the news, there is still fresh music to look forward to before the singer bids farewell to film songs.

On Friday, the makers of Echoes of Us unveiled a teaser of the song Tere Sang, sung by Arijit Singh and Iulia Vantur, who is also said to be Salman Khan’s rumoured partner. The short film marks Iulia’s acting debut as well. The song is set to release tomorrow, with Salman Khan Film Music named as the label and Sony Music India handling its distribution.
The English short film Echoes of Us, announced last year, is directed by Joe Rajan. Along with Iulia, the film stars Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz. The announcement was shared by Taran Adarsh on Instagram through a monochrome carousel featuring Iulia, candid moments with Deepak Tijori, and a final frame of the entire cast and crew.
Iulia’s journey with music began with the song “Every Night and Day,” composed by Himesh Reshammiya. She later lent her voice to a version of Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic Lag Jaa Gale in Salman Khan’s film Sikandar. Speaking about Salman’s encouragement, she told Filmfare, “The emotional support is very important for everybody,to have somebody who believes in your voice. He was one person who believed in my voice and my talent. He encouraged me to do this when I doubted myself. There were moments when I was not received so well.”
