
Artemis II is the most important and historic moon mission. It is NASA’s first crewed mission, which has sent four famous astronauts around the moon. It will be a 10-day journey, and it will test the life-support systems, navigation and deep space operation to establish human presence on the moon. Amidst it, the only woman astronaut, Christina Koch, has created history by being the first woman to travel the farthest from Earth.

NASA’s only woman astronaut on the Artemis II mission, Christina Koch, has created history. She is one of the four astronauts on board for the historic mission to find life on the moon. However, she has set a record by being the first woman to travel more than 4 lakh kilometres away from Earth as part of the ongoing moon mission. The Artemis II astronauts’ spacecraft is named Integrity.
