Taking to Instagram, Kajol shared a picture of Ajay and added a hilarious twist to his birthday wish. In her classic witty style, she joked about his age, saying the candles on his cake now look more like a “fire hazard” than a celebration. Her caption read, “At some point the candles on the cake look less like a celebration and more like a fire hazard… I think u have reached that point .. happy birthday anyways … may u always have cake.”
Soon after, fans flooded the comments with love. While one wished him “many many happy returns,” another called him their “Silent King,” showing just how loved he is.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty also shared a heartfelt birthday wish for his “big brother” with a video tracing their journey from the 90s to now. Keeping it simple and impactful, he wrote, “From the 90s hustle to today. Less words, more action. Happy birthday big brother.”
Ajay and Rohit are set to reunite for Golmaal 5, which was recently announced. The film will bring back the original gang, including Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Sharman Joshi. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the antagonist, and his bald look in the announcement video has already grabbed attention. The release date is yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor also wished Ajay on her Instagram stories, sharing a picture with him and writing, “Happy birthday Singham.. Big love and big hug always @ajaydevgn.” Having worked together in several films, especially the Singham franchise, the duo continues to be a fan favourite on screen.
