Sonu Sood’s directorial debut Fateh, an action-packed thriller, had a decent start at the box office. Released this weekend, the film managed to collect only ₹6 crore in its opening weekend, with ₹2 crore earned each day from Friday to Sunday. Despite discounted ticket prices of ₹99, the movie failed to attract a significant audience.
Featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, the film is being praised for its action packed sequences.
The film follows Fa Singh (Sonu Sood), a former Indian spy leading a quiet life in Punjab, whose world is disrupted when his close friend Nimrat disappears after taking on cybercriminals behind a loan app scam. Determined to find her, Fa teams up with an ethical hacker (Jacqueline Fernandez) to dismantle the cybercrime network and seek justice.
