Brennan Elliott on returning to work after the death of his wife
In a candid conversation with People, Brennan Elliott has opened up about how his 32nd Hallmark film, A Castle of Our Own, feels like a first to him. The film that will premiere on Saturday, June 27, 2026 (ET), arrives 15 months after Elliott lost his wife, Camilla Row, following a nine-year journey with gastric cancer. His character, ‘Adam’s’ journey hit too close to home as well, as he too was someone who felt stuck in place after his wife left him while he was building their dream home. He talked about his role and drew a comparison, saying:
“I was stuck also. It’s tough to move forward when certain things happen to you, but you’ve got to keep plugging away. I feel like this is the next chapter of my life.”
