
After constantly criticising Erika Kirk after Charlie Kirk’s death, conservative commentator, Candace Owens has added another chapter to their conflict. She has now doubted the authenticity of Erika’s marriage to the late Turning Point USA co-founder, Charlie Kirk. The right-wing commentator shared her views on the latest episode of the podcast, in which she claimed she no longer believes the couple’s relationship was genuine.
Candace Owens says Charlie and Erika’s marriage ‘was never real’
Cadence Owens made a strong claim in a podcast on June 25, 2026. She told her listeners that she does believe Charlie Kirk and Erika Kirk’s marriage was ever authentic. She added that she was firm on her views. These comments come months after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while he spoke at an event in Utah Valley University in September 2025. After his death, his wife, Erika Kirk, came into public focus. In fact, she has become the CEO of his foundation, Turning Point USA. At the same time, Erika often shares tributes to her late husband and shares her feelings over the loss of the father of her kids. Meanwhile, in Candace’s words:
“I do not believe, and I want to be clear here, that his relationship with Erika Kirk was ever real. I am firm on that now.”
