The Boys star Jack Quaid and Yellowjackets’ Sophie Thatcher star in a romantic thriller titled Companion. Directed by Drew Hancock, the film comes from the producers of Barbarian and the studio behind The Notebook. Its trailer is out now.
The trailer of Companion introduces Sophie Thatcher as Iris, a robot. It opens up with her narrating the two happiest moments of her existence – the day she met Jack Quaid’s Josh and the day she killed him.

Things take a horrifying turn when Josh and Iris go through a rough patch in their human-A.I. relationship. The trailer teases some deliciously gory scenes as the robot seeks revenge.
Companion also features Lukas Cage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillen and Rupert Friend, among others.
The film will be released in theatres on January 31, 2025.
