Dhanushâs Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam set for OTT release on March 21

The romantic-drama Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam or NEEK has made its OTT premiere today, on March 21, 2025. The movie stars Pavish Narayan, Mathew Thomas and Anikha Surendran. It has been written and directed by Dhanush.

This 2025 Tamil coming-of-age romantic comedy film is an engaging family entertainer that blends romance, comedy and drama. It explores the story of a chef, struggling with heartbreak. His parents try to arrange a marriage for him. However, the bride-to-be encourages him to attend his ex-girlfriend’s wedding to find closure. The ensemble cast includes Priya Prakash Varrier, R Sarathkumar, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon and Ramya Ranganathan.

The music for the movie has been given by GV Prakash Kumar. Leon Britto was in charge of the cinematography. Prasanna GK spearheaded the editing.

The cast speaks on working with Dhanush

Speaking about working with Dhanush during an interview with OTTPlay, actor Pavish Narayan noted, “I was not shy in front of the camera, but I was nervous about the person sitting behind the camera. Dhanush sir eventually made me feel comfortable and warm.” He also added that Dhanush has been a patient director. “Dhanush sir was very patient and he understands what an actor goes through in their first film. There were scenes in which we took our own sweet time, and him being an actor is why he gave us the space,” he shared.

Rabiya Khatoon said, “When you come to a common ground, that’s when it starts getting easy. You should also feel comfortable with camera; I think you get better. And to top it off, all of us wanted to do a good job because we were acting in front of Dhanush sir.”
