Did Dhurandhar Actor Rakesh Bedi Receive Rs 1 Crore Bonus for The Film?

Dhurandhar’s actor, Rakesh Bedi, has reportedly not received Rs 1 crore bonus for his brilliant performance in the Dhurandhar franchise. According to sources, on Friday afternoon, Rakesh Bedi’s manager responded to this rumour and dismissed all such rumours immediately, stating, “It is fake news. We will release a video soon,” while speaking to SCREEN. 

Additionally, Rakesh Bedi’s Dhurandhar co-star, Danish Pandor, also denied such claims and informed the entertainment portal, “It is nothing that I know of. I am completely oblivious about this. A couple of people sent me the story as well. There was some post about Rakesh sir, but there is nothing that I know of.”

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi has once again returned to fame thanks to the huge success of Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. However, amidst all the praises, one rumour has suddenly become the centre of attention, which has made the people talk about whether the actor really received a Rs 1 crore bonus from the film’s makers or not. 

“As Jameel Jamali, Rakesh Bedi impressed, entertained, and completely won over the audience. His dialogues have become immortal in the meme world, while the twist surrounding his character in the sequel further amplified his impact,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed. “The producers were deeply touched by the hard work he put into making the character so memorable. As a token of gratitude, they decided to pay him additional remuneration,” the insider added. 

He further added jokingly, “Bata do taaki main jaake le loon kyunki mere account mein toh abhi tak nahin aaya hai. Mere account mein toh show nahin kar raha hai. Aur agar aa gaya toh main doonga ya shayad na bhi bataaoon… lekin filhaal toh nahin mila hai. Agar aap dilwa sakte ho toh please dilwa do.”
