Director Rajnish Jaiswal Overwhelmed by ‘Kissa Court Kachehari Ka’ Success; Sets Sights on Next Venture ‘DNA’!

In a season where cinema screens are often packed with high-octane spectacles, director Rajnish Jaiswal has emerged as a quiet but powerful force. His latest release, ‘Kissa Court Kachehari Ka’, produced under the banner of Lovely Films Private Limited, has not just entered the box office—it has disrupted it.

Following a “massive explosion” in collections across key circuits like Delhi, Mumbai, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, Jaiswal took a moment to reflect on the film’s journey and express his gratitude to the people who made this “small film, big impact” phenomenon possible.

“I am beyond humbled by the love the audience has shown to Kissa Court Kachehari Ka,” said Jaiswal. “When we were filming in the dusty corridors of Meerut, our only goal was to capture the raw, authentic struggle of a common man within our judicial system. To see audiences across India choosing substantive storytelling over grand spectacles is the greatest validation a filmmaker can receive.”

Rajnish JaiswalThe director was quick to credit his producer, Arun Kumar, for the film’s success. “I must thank Arun Kumar and the team at Lovely Films for taking a calculated risk. In an industry dominated by ‘superstar vehicles,’ Arun had the vision to back a content-driven project that focuses on truth and social impact. This success belongs to his courage as much as my direction.”

Jaiswal also lauded his lead cast, veteran actors Rajesh Sharma and Brijendra Kala, whose nuanced performances have been hailed as career-defining. He also expressed his appreciation towards the rest of the cast members.

Critics have praised Jaiswal’s sensitive, grounded approach, awarding the film high star ratings for its departure from traditional, loud courtroom tropes in favor of a realistic “reference point” for the genre.

Even as theater occupancy remains high and the box office trajectory continues to surge, Jaiswal is not resting on his laurels. The director revealed that he has already shifted his focus to his next ambitious project, titled ‘DNA’.
While details remain under wraps, Jaiswal hinted that the film will continue his tradition of authentic, impactful storytelling.

“The success of Kissa Court Kachehari Ka has given us the momentum to tell even more daring stories,” Jaiswal concluded. “With DNA, we hope to push the boundaries further and keep the conversation going.”
