On February 5, 2025, Jonita Gandhi shared the stage with Ed Sheeran during his Mathematics Tour in Chennai, marking a key milestone in her career. Known for Bollywood hits like The Breakup Song, Vida Karo, and What Jhumka, along with global collaborations with artists like Dua Lipa and Ali Sethi, Jonita has established herself as a prominent voice in the music world.
Reflecting on the experience, Jonita said “I’ve been a fan of Ed for a long time and have even covered some of his songs. I really admire how naturally he moves across different genres—it always feels so authentic. I was disappointed to miss his last Mumbai concert because I had a show elsewhere, so getting to see him live and share the stage with him in Chennai was amazing. I’ll never forget it.”
Jonita has previously performed with renowned artists such as A.R. Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Anirudh Ravichander. Just before the Chennai concert, she performed in Delhi with Arijit Singh, describing it as a magical live experience.
