Elvish Yadav issues statement over derogatory comment passed against Chum Darang
Elvish received a lot of hate from the National Commission for Women (NCW), Chum’s fans online when he passed cheap and racist comments against Chum. The NCW had taken cognizance of the offense made by Chum while he wrote on X that the full issue was falsely alleged on him. He claimed that his statement was taken in a misleading way. Elvish tweeted:
“A statement from my podcast is being taken out of context and presented in a misleading way. There was never any intention to target or insult anyone.I have always believed in respect and inclusivity, and those who know me understand that I have nothing but love for everyone. It’s unfortunate that a false narrative is being created, completely misrepresenting my words. This whole issue is based on false allegations of racism, which is simply not true.”
