For the unversed, on May 8, 2021, Erika Kirk tied the knot with American political activist, Charlie Kirk. The couple welcomed two children, a daughter in August 2022 and a son in May 2024. However, tragedy struck hard in 2025 when Charlie died at 33. On May 8, 2026, Erika took to her Instagram handle and penned an emotional note for her late husband, Charlie. It was her first wedding anniversary that spend the day missing her husband. She wrote:
“When I stood at that altar with you, we made a covenant with God. Two becoming one with the Lord Himself at the centre of our vows, binding us under the eternal. I always deeply understood the sanctity of marriage; we both did, but now that you’re in Heaven, God has stepped into the ache of your absence. He hasn’t left me, nor forsaken me. Marriage to us was so much more than that one wedding day. It was about building a family and a life that glorifies God.
