Euphoria Season 3 Episode 2 is out, and fans have been on the edge of their seats to see how their favourite show has taken a dark turn. Titled American Dream, Episode 2 takes a deep dive into the old maxim that has never been truer than in this episode of Euphoria. It appears to be that everyone is either selling, buying, or leveraging flesh, and Sam Levinson has nothing against showing it all.
However, the episode brings good news for Alexa Demie fans: she shines the brightest in Episode 2, as her character ‘Maddy’ gets more screen time. Fans not only get to see her, but also get to explore her unglamorous job as an assistant talent manager the old-fashioned way: by marching up to her prospective boss at a diner and demanding she give her a chance. Warning: Spoilers ahead!
What happened in Euphoria Season 3 Episode 2?
Nonetheless, it’s not the worst bit that ‘Maddy’ is willing to skewer her competition, telling ‘Ms. Penzler’ essayed by Rebecca Pidgeon that, while as a child of immigrants, she didn’t even bother applying to college, let alone attend an entertainment-industry feeder school like USC, but she’s “not entitled, not a victim, not an HR nightmare.” Euphoria Season 3 Episode 2 also explores other arcs, including ‘Rue’ becoming a drug mule and finding God, as things get even darker.
