Salman Khan’s Sikandar is shaping up to be an event film and there’s no surprise there. But, every event film must have a special song that stands out and hooks the audience in. Such special songs are crucial in creating buzz around event movies and Salman has recently shot for such a special song with co-star Rashmika Mandanna in Mumbai.
Our sources revealed that a promotional song was shot at a studio in Mumbai yesterday, where Salman and Rashmika sashayed to a popular, old number. The source said, “It’s a remix of an iconic song by Lata Mangeshkar ji.” That’s exciting stuff. If you can guess the song, do let us know in the article comments section. Once the makers announce the actual song, we’ll see how many of our guesses turned out right.
For now, the title of this special number is being kept under wraps. Understandably so, since this song will be a part of the Sikandar’s promotional campaign.
So far, the makers of Sikandar have unveiled two songs from the film. The first track, Zohra Jabeen, offered a closer look at Salman and Rashmika’s chemistry. The fresh pair danced and romanced in the music video of the party anthem. The film’s second song is an energetic Holi number titled Bam Bam Bhole.

Sikandar’s plot has been kept under wraps. But we do know that the titular character is a fiery man who goes up against corruption for the greater good of the common people. The film is expected to unleash high-octane action along with an engaging storyline. This also marks Salman and Rashmika’s first collaboration. Sikandar’s cast includes popular names like Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi and Sathyaraj.
The film arrives in cinemas this Eid.
