Amid that, the latest reports are alleging that the former suspect in the case, Luke Daley, might sue the Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos.

The Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case has seen several twists and turns since the 84-year-old was reported missing on February 1, 2026, from her own home in Arizona. Several suspects have since been brought in for questioning, but there hasn’t been any solid lead on Nancy’s whereabouts. However, amid that, the buzz is that one of the suspects might be planning on suing the Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos. The former suspect in reports is being named as a former conman from Arizona, Luke Daley, who was briefly detained for questioning by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
