The issue began at the Joy Awards 2026, held in Saudi Arabia. After the event, a social media post claimed that the actress called SRK an ‘uncle’. However, Hande Erçel has revealed the truth behind the viral claim.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan, Hande Erçel and many more global celebrities attended the Joy Awards 2026, which was held in Saudi Arabia. Soon after the event ended, a user took to their X handle (formerly Twitter) and shared that Turkish actress, Hande Erçel failed to recognise SRK on stage and called him an uncle.
