In a 2017 interview with The Quint, Shah Bano’s youngest son, Jameel Ahmad, shared that his mother was 60 years old when she got divorced from her husband, Mohd. Ahmed Khan in 1979. So that means she was born in 1919. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Shah Bano’s husband, Mohd. Ahmed Khan, a reputed lawyer of Indore, died in 2006 and was 94 when he passed away.
