For the unversed, a few days back, Himanshu attended the comedy show of Bigg Boss 19 fame, Pranit More and made the infamous Rs. 370 Biryani remark. The misogynistic remark from Himanshu made him lose his job. Reportedly, Himanshu was employed with Starvik Design, Gurgaon. A while back, Himanshu broke his silence for the first time over the Rs. 370 Biryani controversy.

A while back, Starvik Design dropped an alleged Google chat conversation with their former employee, Himanshu Jangra. The Haryana resident came under public scrutiny soon after the clip showing his Rs. 370 Biryani remark surfaced online. During the conversation with Starvik Design, Himanshu mentioned that for the last two weeks his condition has been pretty worse. He shared that he never expected to receive so much hate. Himanshu stated that people have been trolling him on Instagram, and his neighbours also came up to complain about the controversy. He was quoted as saying:
“Condition bohot worse hai. Pichle do hafton se bohot zyada troll ho raha hoon Instagram pe. Ek hafto tak kisiko pata nahi tha, mere family mein, mere hometown mein. Mereko expectations nahi thi ki mein itna zyada troll, itna zyada hate milega mereko iss cheez ke liye. As pas ke neighbours ghar ake ke bata diya ki, apka ladka aise aise bol raha hai video mein, yeh bohot sharam ki baat hai. Ghar walon ne daanta samjhaya.”
