House of the Dragon, the spinoff of Game of Thrones, has built a big fan base ever since it premiered in 2022. The show has even created records for its viewership numbers. After two successful seasons, House of the Dragon is back with Season 3, which began streaming on June 21, 2026 (ET).
The makers are already planning to end the show with the upcoming fourth season. This is possibly one of the reasons that one episode will be released on a weekly basis, leading to the end of the third season on August 9, 2026. While one episode is not sufficient to give a final verdict on whether the season is bad or outstanding, it has started on a good note, leaving sky-high expectations for the upcoming episodes.
