During the trailer launch event of The Roshans, Hrithik Roshan recalled a childhood memory with Rajinikanth. Reflecting on that moment, he admitted how foolish he was for not realizing the immense stature of Rajinikanth at the time.
The Roshans is a docu-series streaming on Netflix that explores the legacy and contributions of Roshanlal Nagrath to Indian cinema. It also delves into the journeys of his sons, Rajesh and Rakesh Roshan, and his grandson, Hrithik Roshan, highlighting the enduring impact of the Roshan family on the industry.
Holding up a photograph, Hrithik said, “This is a photograph of a very foolish guy, who had no idea he was standing next to the greatest legend of all time. For me, he was Rajini uncle. I used to talk to him like, ‘Yes, Uncle, yes.’ Today, if I get a chance to work with him, I will be very different. I will realize the weight of the moment, knowing that I am sharing screen space with him.”
On the professional front, Hrithik is preparing for his highly anticipated film War 2, where he stars opposite Kiara Advani and South superstar Jr. NTR.
