Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt recently reconnected for a delightful and tasty lunch. Despite their commitment to fitness, they always appreciate indulging in delicious meals. Alia and Kareena recently savoured a simple, home-cooked Maharashtrian meal at the residence of celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar. Rujuta shared a cheerful photograph on Instagram, capturing their enjoyment of the food.
Since embracing motherhood, both Kareena and Alia have made a conscious effort to consume clean, home-cooked meals. On this occasion, they were extended an invitation by Rujuta Diwekar, who believes in seasonal eating. She offered a traditional pithla bhakri spread, which also featured a salad and green vegetables. This dish is quite prevalent in Maharashtrian households and is known as a staple food.
Rujuta also shared a picture on her Instagram story, with the following caption, “Post pithla bhakri pose with the two best girls.” Alia also shared a picture of the meal on her story and expressed her admiration for it. Her caption read, “The most wholesome soul-some lunch courtesy Rujuta Diwekar.” Rujuta replied to Alia’s story and wrote, “Your ability to enjoy the simple joys of life is your superpower.” In the picture, Kareena was seen in a casual attire while Alia opted for a white ethnic suit.
Kareena and Rujuta have collaborated professionally for a long period. Rujuta has served as Kareena’s nutritionist since the time of the film Tashan. Rujuta also assisted her in attaining the ‘size zero’ physique during Tashan, which eventually became a huge trend.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up for Alpha which also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in lead roles. She also has Love & War in the pipeline which will be her second collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor after Brahmastra. Vicky Kaushal also plays a key role in this film. On the other hand, Kareena has Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra in her upcoming schedule.
