Famous influencer, Insha Ghai’s life crashed down after the sudden demise of her 29-year-old husband, Ankit Kalra. It was Rakshabandhan’s day, and the two were celebrating the occasion with their respective families. However, his sudden death left not just her but the entire social media in shock. Insha talked for the first time about the ordeal of the fateful day.

Insha and Ankit, who got married in February 2023, were still celebrating their honeymoon period, when the tragedy ruined all their dreams. Insha, in a conversation with Namit Chawla for his podcast, The Namit Show, revealed that it was Rakhi day and they had to leave home to celebrate Rakhi with their respective families. Insha said:
“Mereko subah ghar jana to celebrate rakhi in the night, Ankit had to go with his father to his grandfather’s place to celebrate rakhi. So, in the morning, vo mujhse 10 min pehle nikala, he hugged me and said, ‘Chal mai chalta hoon, tu enjoy kario.’ I hugged him and he left. Everything was fine, he was healthy, he was normal. I didn’t knew it was the last time I am seeing him. Vo mere liye abhi bhi thura disturbing hota hai sochna, ‘Ki kash mujhe pta hota ki this is the last time.”
