What happened in Invincible Season 4 Episode 8?
In contrast to Invincible Season 3, the Invincible Season 4 finale was much more toned down, largely because the epilogue for Episode 7 and the Viltrumite War cleared the path for Season 5. Much of the episode revolves around ‘Mark’s’ return to Earth and his post-traumatic visions of ‘Viltrumite’, where he slaughtered his loved ones. ‘Debbie’, ‘Eve’, ‘Cecil’ and others are killed by ‘Thragg’, but it’s all in ‘Mark’s’ head so far. On ‘Telescria’, ‘Allen’ is appointed leader of the Coalition of Planets, but her inauguration doesn’t go well, as the council suggests wiping out all ‘Viltrumites’, including ‘Nolan’ and ‘Mark’.
