People got really excited when late last year it was revealed that Jaideep Ahlawat was joining the cast of Raj & DK’s successful series The Family Man. While Seasons 1 & 2 of this show on OTT have focussed on Manoj Bajpayee’s and Samantha’s characters and their arcs, Season 3 will pit Jaideep Ahlawat against Manoj Bajpayee. The fans were guessing if Ahlawat would show up in Srikant Tiwari’s world as an antagonist and we have heard that just might be the case.
Our source revealed, “It’s really unfair to reveal character arcs and key storylines of a show or film that hasn’t released. But I can tell you that Jaideep has a very prominent role in The Family Man Season 3. His character will go up against Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikanth and the audiences will get to watch these two legends of the screen, play off each other’s energies.” Samantha’s antagonist turn in Season 2 was the definitive talking point and we’re expecting a similar outcome with Jaideep Ahlawat and Season 3 of the show. It will also be exciting to watch if there’s a connection between Samantha and Jaideep Ahlawat’s characters in the new season.
It’s not 100 percent confirmed, but we’ve got a hunch that Jaideep will play a character that has negative shades and will most definitely be on the opposite side of Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man’s universe. Directors Raj & DK, along with their creative team, are the final authority on this, though. We’ll be hoping that the trailer for The Family Man Season 3 drops soon and our apprehensions are laid to rest. We’re waiting with bated breath.
