The trailer of Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming film Jack was released on Thursday. It certainly packs a punch as the trailer has all the elements of a typical action romance film. The three-minute trailer starts off with Prakash Raj whose agency is on a mission to nab four terrorists. Jack (Siddhu) who is also an agent on a similar mission crosses paths with Prakash Raj in the operation. The drama unfolds when both get to know about each other.
Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, the film features Vaishnavi Chaitanya as the leading lady. According to the filmmakers, the story has been grippingly narrated amid a love story and humour. While showcasing his signature style of dialogue delivery, Siddhu also blends action and drama in the trailer. His romantic track with Vaishnavi looks promising and is also expected to bring laughter. The trailer establishes the film’s plot and how the protagonist’s character is weaved into the narrative. But what’ll be interesting to see is how the drama unfolds as new characters are introduced during the mission. While the set up and story are familiar, how Siddhu shouldered the film with his wit and acting holds the key.
According to Siddu, the title ‘Jack-Konchem Krack’ is a reflection of the hero’s characterization and the rhyming nature. “The audiences will better understand after they watch the film,” he says. “Every person has a goal in life, but the way we approach our work and why we do it is equally important. Likewise, a few people do things differently, and we call them a ‘crack,’ which is why we chose this title. When Baskar narrated the characterization, I was instantly hooked to it. Being a writer myself, I gave a few inputs, and Baskar developed the story.
Achu Rajamani is providing the music while Sam CS provided the background score for the film, which will release on April 10, 2025.
