There were reports in some media outlets that Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen in a special song for Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Raid 2. As exciting as that proposition sounds, the truth is a little bit different. As different as Jacqueline Fernandez is to Tamannaah. Our sources have revealed that this special song in mention has been shot recently but it features Jacqueline Fernandez and not Tamannaah.
Our sources tells us, “Jacqueline recently shot for an item number with Yo Yo Honey Singh. This is for Ajay Devgn’s movie Raid 2. Even Ajay will be seen in this special number.” We’ll be hoping that the sensuous Tamannaah also makes it to another special song for this film, but in probability, it looks like that the item number in question will have Jacqueline and Honey Singh teaming up.
Jacqueline has been in the news of late for her mother’s hospitalization and bad health. The actress had to reportedly skip her IPL performance because her mother Kim was unwell and was admitted to the hospital. Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 has been a much-awaited sequel. Director Rajkumar Gupta and Ajay Devgn had delivered a runaway hit in 2019 with Raid, where the drama hinged on politicians and their creative ways of hiding black money. It will be interesting to see how things turn out in the sequel.
Posters of Riteish Deshmukh recently cropped up in Mumbai, featuring him as a young politician. This was a creative campaign to announce his character from Raid 2. Riteish’s first character poster was also unveiled last week. In the poster, the actor can be seen wearing a crisp shirt with a Nehru jacket. He is surrounded by several people holding flags of his party. Riteish strikes an intense pose.
The film will release in May this year and it also features Vaani Kapoor in the cast.
