JLo to JLaw: Naked Dressing Done Right at Golden Globes 2026

The 83rd Annual Golden Globes, or Golden Globes 2026 took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The stars walked the red carpet, with many familiar and fresh faces making their highly coveted appearances. While the theme of the night seemed to be glam-on-point, many stars took the trend of naked dressing to another level. Amongst them, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Lawrence, Jenna Ortega, Lisa and more had too much fun with their semi-transparent ensembles.

Jennifer Lopez wore a Jean-Louis Scherrer gown by Stephane Rolland. It is a nude mesh turtleneck gown adorned with brown swirling appliqué, flowing seamlessly into a tulle mermaid skirt. Jennifer Lawrence walked the red carpet in a nude mesh dress from Givenchy. It came with intricate flowers and sage green leaves detailing that covered parts of her body. She carried a pale pink satin stole to give the ensemble a dramatic edge.

Wednesday star Jenna Ortega did not go for semi-transparency. She showed skin with bold side cutouts and low-slung hip. Teyana Taylor also followed the bold cutouts trend. Her black Schiaparelli was a masterclass at naked dressing without mesh designs. K-Pop’s brightest LISA and EJAE were also ahead of others in naked dressing. The BLACKPINK member donned a black sheer dress from Jacquemus which came with semi-transparent layers. The K-Pop Demon Hunters star, on the other hand, wore a strapless black gown with lace detailing and a bubble hem.
