Prateik Patil Babbar and Priya Banerjee’s wedding took place without his family, sparking questions. His half-brother, Aarya Babbar, revealed they weren’t invited, while their sister, Juhi Babbar Soni, said Aarya’s reaction was out of hurt. “This has been a sensitive topic even before Prateik was born, but he is my brother, and nothing can change that. Hum ek hi baap ki aulaad hain,” she stated.
Juhi hinted that certain people around Prateik may have influenced his distance from the family. “Some individuals have played a role in this, but we won’t name them. This has nothing to do with Priya—she is a wonderful girl, and he is lucky to have her,” she clarified. She also mentioned that their mother, Nadira Babbar, has always supported Prateik but believes some people kept them away due to insecurity.
Despite not attending, Juhi insisted there’s no rift. “He had a tough first marriage, and now he’s taken a big step. We don’t want to pressure him. Family disagreements happen, but our father stood by him through everything. There’s no issue from our side,” she said.
