In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Maanvi Gagroo opened up about the trolls who body-shamed her co-star, Patralekhaa, post-motherhood. For the uninitiated, Maanvi and Patralekhaa are working in the film, Heer Sara. Maanvi stated that it was ridiculous to discuss these things after standing in 2026. Maanvi revealed that she had a chat about this with Patralekhaa, and these trolls didn’t deserve any response. However, at one point, it was too much for Patralekhaa, and she reacted to it. Maanvi explained that her co-star might have felt that she needed to speak up. Backing Patralekhaa, Maanvi said:
“It’s so ridiculous. It’s 2026; I can’t believe we’re still talking about it. I had a chat with Patra about it. I said, ‘Don’t even dignify it with a response. It doesn’t even need your attention. You’ve got so much going on in your life. Don’t even give it any mental space. Of course, it’s easier for me to say because I wasn’t on the receiving end of it. And maybe she did feel the need to say it. She’s just had a baby, man! What do people want women to do? But they’re just opinions at the end of the day. They’re not facts.”
