Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently joined Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi during the pre-release promotional event of their upcoming film Thandel. During the event, the director revealed that it was Naga Chaitanya’s personal style that inspired the looks of Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in Kabir Singh and Animal respectively.
He shared, “For some reason, even without knowing certain actors personally, you feel a special inclination towards them, and Chaitanya is one of them. In reality, the way you dress and even the way you drive your Lamborghini – I asked my costume designer to take references from your real-life outfits for Kabir Singh and Animal. I’ve never shared this before, but I thought I would today.”
Both Shahid and Ranbir’s characters in the film had long hair and beard.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Thandel will be released on February 7.
