Kareena Kapoor posted a picture with Karan on Instagram and showered him with affection in her birthday note. Calling him her “darling,” she wrote, “Love you, love you and love you more, today and always. Happy birthday my darling @karanjohar.”
Sonam Kapoor also shared warm wishes through her Instagram Stories. Posting a photo of Karan with her father Anil Kapoor, she wrote, “Happy birthday to @karanjohar.. A photo with your favourite Kapoor.. love you KJo..” She later shared another picture with him and added, “Gemini energy always @karanjohar.”
Kajol, who shares a long standing friendship with Karan and has collaborated with him on several films, marked the occasion with a candid picture of the filmmaker kissing her cheek. Alongside the image, she joked, “Happy Happy birthday Karan. Most of the pics we have together are blurry, probably because we both can’t stay still long enough.”
Meanwhile, Karan is currently enjoying the success of his latest production, Chand Mera Dil which hit theatres on May 22, 2026. Directed by Vivek Soni and starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, the romantic drama follows the journey of Aarav and Chandni, whose love story begins during their college years. Over the years, Karan Johar has established himself as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated filmmakers, delivering memorable films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, My Name Is Khan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
