Kartik Aaryan is currently balancing three films at once. While Kabir Khan has already started shooting his next project with him, the actor has also joined Anurag Basu’s romantic musical and is also doing Dharma Productions’ Naagzilla. The plan is to juggle all three schedules for a while so that Basu’s film, reportedly titled Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, can be wrapped up quickly.
The urgency largely comes from the release calendar. With Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, expected to take over screens this Diwali, the makers want to avoid direct competition. A source shared, “Anurag and the makers want breathing space at the box office. They are aiming for a clean theatrical run without competition from a spectacle like ‘Ramayana’. October has one major release, ‘Drishyam 3’. So, producer Bhushan Kumar and Anurag are considering an October release.”
So far, Kartik and Sreeleela have already completed a week-long shoot in Kashmir and are now heading to Manali for the next leg. The idea is to finish most of the filming before peak summer. After that, Kartik will shift focus to Kabir Khan’s sports drama, while Anurag Basu will move into post-production and lock the final cut.
Amid all the speculation, Bhushan Kumar also cleared the air around the project’s title. Speaking about the film, he said, “It’s not Aashiqui 3, it’s an untitled film,” confirming that the shoot is underway in Srinagar. He also highlighted the music as a major strength, adding, “It’s coming out fabulous, with super duper music from Pritam, he has given outstanding music.”
