Kiara and Sidharth’s pregnancy announcement came in the form of a joint post. This Friday, they shared a picture of cream coloured knit-socks, Kiara and Sidharth’s hands can be seen cradling the socks as a symbolic gesture. Check it out here:
They captioned the post, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon,” with a baby, evil eye and heart emoji. Needless to say, industry insiders and fans are elated with the news.
Several celebrities showered the couple with love. Samantha wrote, “Omg. Congratulations.” Sharvari commented, “Congratulations you guys. Best news ever.” Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty who is also expecting her first child dropped a heart and evil-eye emoji.
Sidharth and Kiara’s love story
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani met during the after party of Lust Stories, but their love story began on the sets of their historical drama Shershaah. They soon went from reel to real lovers. They tied the knot on February 7, 2023. Their dreamy wedding ceremony took place at the Suryagargh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It was an intimate affair with close friends and family in attendance. Their romantic wedding video shared a sweet glimpse of their ceremony.
In an early interview with Filmfare, Sidharth had revealed his initial perception of Kiara. He shared, “We had met on the set of Lust Stories. She has worked for quite a few years and still has a very non-filmy vibe. She could be working in any other profession and I find that refreshing. Maybe because I don’t come from this background myself. I come from a working class, middle class Punjabi household in Delhi. So, I find that refreshing and endearing at the same time.”
