A deadly collision between an Air Canada jet and a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York City on March 22, 2026, claimed the lives of both pilots, while injuring more than 30 people. The investigation has been ongoing while the injured passengers were sent to the hospital.
If the reports are to be believed, the crash took place when the Jazz aviation flight, which operated on behalf of Air Canada, was landing on runway four and hit an aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle, which was responding to a separate incident. While the pilot and the co-pilot passed away, it was a flight attendant who was miraculously saved after being ejected. In a recent interview, her daughter divulged details about how her mom was saved and how she is now.
