However, the actress decided to step away from the limelight after tying the knot with US-based businessman, Dr. Shriram Nene, in 1999. Madhuri made a comeback in 2007 with Aaja Nachle and has been actively working in the industry ever since. It has also been over a decade since the actress and her family moved back to India. Madhuri and her husband, Dr. Nene, were recently seen talking about how fiercely protective their sons had been of each other while growing up on the latter’s YouTube channel.

Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, took to his YouTube channel with a video in which he, his mother, and Madhuri were seen fondly chatting about the couple’s sons. For the unversed, Madhuri and Dr. Nene have two sons, Arin and Ryan. The family recounted how the brothers had been fiercely protective of each other even as kids. Speaking of how Arin had shielded Ryan from the entire world when they were kids, Dr. Nene’s mother recalled:
“He was so protective about his brother Ryan. He would always say, ‘He is my brother, my younger brother’. No matter where he went, you (Arin) were protecting him.”
